The Greater Fort Worth Chapter of the American Council of the Blind Texas is planning a "Braille Awareness Day" on Saturday, January 31 in conjunction with 10 cities in the State of Texas.

Three local students who are blind will read Braille books at the Hulen area Barnes&Noble bookstore (4801 Overton Ridge Road - corner of Hulen and Overton Ridge) at three different times during the day:  11:00, 1:00 and 3:00.  Anjie Cook, President of the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Council for the Blind, will demonstrate the use of a Braille Writer so sighted children can learn how it works.  Please make plans to join the Arlington Chapter of the American Council of the Blind on January 31st!
